I've always been skeptical of ebay. I've heard too many horror stories of people purchasing items that look nothing like what they ordered. Thus, I stay away from ebay purchases, lest I end up with a PradO bag instead of a Prada. Anyway, I digress.

Today I was in search of a clutch I'd seen in BCBG in late fall of last year. Nothing like non-buyer's remorse - hah! Anyway, after scouring the web for quite awhile, I finally broke down and decided to look on ebay. At first nothing came up in my search. I expanded by searching for just a "black BCBG clutch." And there it was. 1 in black for 1/2 the price that it retailed for. And *NEW*...or so teresahilton with 31,000+ reviews (99% positive) tells me. So we'll see when I receive it in 5-6 days. Until then...

I am currently debating with myself how often I would actually wear a poncho. I guess the one reigning con against purchasing this gorgeous piece of Burberry would be that I am not a 6ft-tall lanky-legged model. Can one alter Burberry? Is that sacrilege to the fashion gods? Hmmm. I'm not sure I could just waltz into my tailor with a $750 Burberry poncho and request they hem it a bit. But it's sooooo soft and pretty. And so continues the debate...
